What is RunBuddy?

Have you ever found yourself in an uncomfortable or potentially dangerous situation while out for a walk, run, or ride? RunBuddy was developed to address this common experience by acting as a safety companion through a smartphone application.

RunBuddy serves as a valuable safety tool within the endurance sport community. It is designed to advocate for individuals and draw attention to their situations when they may be unable to do so themselves.

How Does RunBuddy Work?

• Allows your "buddies" to track your real-time location on a map through cellular connectivity.
• Sends automatic and manually activated in-app alerts to your buddies if you or the app detects potential trouble.

RunBuddy is available for free download, enabling anyone to become a "buddy." The free version requires installation in both your and your buddy's phones to receive in-app alerts. Buddy activities can be viewed by clicking on the "Buddy Activities" tab in the menu.

The full version of RunBuddy offers additional features and requires a subscription, which can be obtained by signing up through the Settings tab in the menu.

About RunBuddy Subscription:

• Automatic stationary and overspeed alerts
• Activity history logging
• Ability to invite others to view your activity and receive alerts

To invite friends and family members to download RunBuddy and serve as your "buddy" during your walks, runs, or rides, navigate to the Invite Friends tab in the menu and send invitations via text message, Facebook, or other methods.

Billing Information:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal charges will be incurred within 24 hours before the end of each period. Subscriptions can be managed or canceled through your App Store account settings post-purchase.
